Waxing Information

1. Check yo' self. No matter what you are waxing check your skin. Broken skin or inflammation needs to heel before you can be waxed. Stop using harsh exfoliants such as Retin-A and skin thinning creams 72 hours before and after your service.

2. Let it grow.....but not too much. Too short and the wax won't pick it up. Too long and it will be more painful and less flawless. 4-5 weeks or the length of a grain of rice is optimal for most clients.

3. Scrub a dub dub. Gently exfoliate the day before your service. Exfoliating helps the wax grab the hair not the skin. Keep exfoliating regularly after your wax to decrease ingrown hairs. Avoid sugar scrubs and stick to exfoliating gloves, post-waxing solutions and salt scrubs.

4. Lather it on. Moisturize regularly until the day of your service. Healthy, hydrated skin allows for a less painful and cleaner wax.

5. Keep it clean. Keep your skin extra clean the week after your wax. Waxing can leave your skin vulnerable to infection, especially in the areas of the body that are warm and damp. Please do not come to your wax appointment after the gym, yoga class or cycle sesh without a quick rinse.

6. Don't bake baby. Avoid excess sun exposure before and after your service.

7. Numb it up. If you are new to waxing or just a little nervous, put on a high quality numbing cream.

8. Tight isn't right. Wear loose, comfortable clothing.

Airbrush Tanning Information

1. Scrub a dub dub. Gently exfoliate the day before your service. Dry rough patches of skin tend to hold more color. Exfoliating gloves, salt & sugar scrubs will help get your skin smooth for the best airbrush application.

2. Smooth it out. Shave or wax before your service. If you decide to wax make sure you do so at least 24 hours before your tan.

3. Go bare. Avoid lotions, creams, and deodorants. These could interfere with the spray tan properly adhering to the skin.

4. Get comfortable in your own skin. Most clients tan in swimsuits, underwear or nothing at all. Don't forget this is not a boudoir photo shoot. Leave the lacy lingerie at home.

5. Tight isn't right. Wear dark loose, comfortable clothing.

6. Dehydration is key. Do not get wet after your service. Shower in the allotted time for each type of tan. Express glow: 1 to 4 hours depending on your desired level of darkness. Glow: 6 to 8 hours or overnight. Avoid pools, showers, water fights, and the rain.

Lash Extension Information

1. Go natural. Come to your appointment with clean lashes and no make up. If you wear contacts be sure to take them out and bring your glasses if you need them.

2. Lather rinse repeat. You cannot get your extensions wet for 24 hours so plan accordingly. If you need to shower or heavily wash your face make sure you do so before your appointment.

3. Skip the gym. Avoid that yoga class or long run for at least 24 hours. Your lashes need time to set.

4. Low fat is in. Do not use products that contain oil while you have extensions. Oil can start to break down the bond of the glue. To clean your lashes use an approved lash extension cleanser.

5. Dry, dry, dry. Heavy humidity can decrease your retention. Avoid long hot showers and steam rooms to help your lashes lash longer.

6. Detangle. Gently brush your lashes out daily with a lash wand. Your lash stylist will give you a new lash wand with every fill. It is important to rotate them frequently to avoid bacterial growth.

7. Wear them proud. Try to avoid eye make up and mascara. Some eye make up ingredients can decrease the life of your extensions. With those long, gorgeous lashes who needs it anyway?
